Join The Action Sports Translator team

We’re always on the lookout for professional translators, writers, editors, transcreators (and more) to join our team. Don’t see a suitable position for your skillset? We also accept spontaneous applications. Who knows? One day, we might need exactly what you bring to the table! Check out our openings below and get in touch. We can’t wait to work with you!

PSSS… we receive hundreds of applications every month; the selection process is manual, which means a human is going through each submission. As such, it might take a while to get back to you. Regardless of the outcome, you’ll hear back from us! Learn more about our recruitment process and find answers to your recruitment questions in our recruitment FAQs.

Translators, transcreators and language professionals.

Does clean text on a blank page get you as excited as making first tracks in powder or riding waves off into the sunset? Then you’ll feel right at home with us! Fill out our form and get in touch.

We like to work with linguists who have a few years of experience under their belt and a solid background in the type of sports translation they do. That generally means localization (websites / apps), SEO, marketing translation, transcreation, subtitling and so on.

Copy and content writers.

Creating copy or content for the outdoor and adventure sports industry gets your heart pumping. You know how to work with a brief, understand the importance of SEO and love to tell a good story. You also love getting outside to enjoy those sports firsthand. Sound like you? Then we’d love to hear more!

We ask that you have a few years of experience under your belt and a solid background writing about your sports verticals.

Editors.

Whether you’re editing localized content or a piece that was written from scratch, you approach it with laser focus. As the final step in the content localization or creation process, you make sure the copy is as polished as it can be. And that it conveys the right tone and message. Sometimes that might mean being a little ruthless, but you understand the importance of your role, take extreme ownership of your work and can provide constructive feedback rather than just criticism.

You don’t leave anything to chance (how many dictionary tabs do you have open right now?), yet you never lose sight of the bigger picture. And of course, you’re also a big outdoor enthusiast. Are we speaking your language? Then get in touch!

Translation project managers.

Dreaming of combining your translation project management skills with your love for the outdoors? You’d be right at home with us! As our team grows, we’re looking to add freelance project managers to our team.

This role is for you if you’re proactive, can work well independently and know how important it is to build relationships. You strive to provide a great experience to every account you manage AND the freelancers you work with on them. You want to have a positive impact across the industry and get your clients results. Working with your favorite brands would be a dream, so what are you waiting for? Apply now!

Don't see a suitable position?

Feel like your skillset would be a great match for us, but you defy categorization (at least in any of the roles listed)? Then drop your details below. We’d love to learn what you have to offer.
